What is NX?

NX is virtual currency used in all games serviced by Nexon America, Inc. NX can be spent to purchase in-game items, accessories, and services. There are two types of NX:

NX Prepaid

NX Prepaid is purchased using Karma Koin, Nexon Game Cards, Xsolla, or PaySafeCard (PaySafeCard only available in Europe). There are no restrictions on NX Prepaid.

NX Credit

NX Credit is purchased using a credit card, PayPal, or Mobile charge, or may be earned via the Earn Free NX program. NX Credit cannot be used for certain items in Nexon games. Full details can be found under "NX Credit Restrictions".

How to get it?

NX purchased through the Steam Wallet is considered NX Credit. Please be aware that there are restrictions on what can be purchased with NX Credit in Nexon’s games and that these restrictions vary by game.

Restrictions

For security reasons, there are restrictions on how you can spend NX Credit. For example, items purchased with NX Credit cannot be sent to friends as gifts. Below you will find specific restrictions for each game.

Sudden Attack

  • Certain Boxes (including TRG-21 Special, Sidearm Special, M4A1 Special, AK-47 Special, Weapon Skin, and Point Explosion Boxes) cannot be purchased with NX Credit until a character has reached Staff Sergeant.

Dragon Nest

  • Item Protection Jellies and Approval Stamps cannot be purchased with NX Credit.
  • Magnifying Glasses cannot be purchased with NX Credit until a character has reached level 10.
  • Quick HP Gain Potions, Quick MP Gain Potions, Marketplace Passes, and Express Mail Stamps cannot be purchased with NX Credit until a character has reached level 15.
  • Dragon Eggs cannot be purchased with NX Credit until a character has reached level 32.

MapleStory

  • Surprise Style Boxes, Gachapon, Remote Gachapon, and Meso Bags cannot be purchased with NX Credit until a character has reached level 30.
  • Marvel Machine Spins and Double Marvels available on the official MapleStory website cannot be purchased with NX Credit until a character has reached level 30.

Vindictus

  • Surprise Supplies cannot be purchased with NX Credit until a character has reached level 30.

Atlantica Online

  • Clothing Random Boxes and Blessing Licenses cannot be purchased with NX Credit until a character has reached level 30.
  • Mounts and decoration Random Boxes cannot be purchased with NX Credit until a character has reached level 50.
  • Atlas Ores cannot be purchased with NX Credit until a character has reached level 60.

Combat Arms

  • Certain Supply Cases (including GP - Hazard and MYST), Black HiSecKeys, Weapon Renewal Kits, and Respawn Tokens cannot be purchased with NX Credit until a character has reached the rank of Master Sergeant.
  • Mercenaries, Super Megaphones, and Supply Case GP - Regular may not be purchased with NX Credit until a character has reached the rank of Staff Sergeant.

Dungeon Fighter Online

  • Avatars, Skeleton Keys, Skeleton Key Fragments, and Dual Skill Build Licenses cannot be purchased with NX Credit until a character has reached level 18.
  • Megaphones and Echo Megaphones cannot be purchased with NX Credit until a character has reached level 30.

Mabinogi

  • Gachapon, Mystery Boxes, and Dye Ampoules cannot be purchased with NX Credit until a character has reached level 30.
